Arizonans who use their driver’s license or id card to go through tsa security at u.s. The travel id will serve as valid identification to pass through airport security to board commercial aircraft as well as access restricted areas in federal facilities, nuclear power plants and military facilities. Arizona residents won't be able to travel out of airports throughout the state and country without a voluntary travel id starting oct. At this point, the voluntary travel id is optional, and may only make sense for those whose license will be issued or renewed prior to 10/1/20.
